November 25 - Exploratory Hike - Allendale ridge

Due to nasty weather, a planned Saturday hike was cancelled. However, on Thursday 4 of us hiked up to the top of a 1 k long, sharp spined rocky ridge that had a steep cliff along its south side. Panoramic views made the climb worth while. We had never been there before, but worked out one using Google Earth.

November 22 - Mount Keoghan

On Sat 11/22 11 hikers did a new hike ascending Mt Keoghan ,coming up from Rattlesnake Lake and descending to cars waiting at the corral on Green Lake Rd. It was a very nice day for hiking with little or no wind. We had 2 or 3 newer members who were impressed with our hiking and organizational skills.
