Mar 18 - Checking out "Gill's Hill"

Recent snow fine with temperature never getting above zero; allowing us to get to this southern ridge top for the first time this season.

Mar 14 - Ski at Southern Comfort

Led by Gill Holland. Areas of snow crusting forced us to have a "level" ski, so we headed to several far south clear cuts. Approaching snow squalls cut down visibility.

Mar 12 - two point Mountain

Minus 16 but no wind. So clear that the Cathedrals,Cascades, Manning Park, Coastal and Lilloett area mountains visible from the two tops.

Mar 4 - Ski to Summit Lookout Mountain

Clear day showing all the mountain ranges in the area. Variable snow conditions made the climb and descent "interesting" at times.

Feb 28 - Ski outing - Stray horse Trails

Great skiing over meadows and rolling hills, followed by forest trails to Jade, No-Name and Nickle Plate Lakes. Helped a lost trio of young female snowshoers get back to civilization.

Feb 25 - Exploratory ski South Loop

Fresh snow made for good skiing in the open and lightly forested areas, but under large trees icy patches made one ski with caution.
Saturday, rather than heading south , we will ski the more open Strayhorse trails.

Feb 21 - Allendale Ridge slopes

Fast powder skiing over an area new to the club.

Feb 18 - Exploratory Ski - Allendale

5 of us checked out a new area, confirming that it would be great for Saturday's club ski.

Feb 11 - Exploratory Ski - Allendale

Starting at km 27 on the '201' two of us did an exploratory ski to the top of a 6300 foot bare rock ridge overlooking Allendale Lake and the whole South Okanagan.
