Nick led this hike, which was new to almost everyone in the group (15 of us). Starting from the Garnet Valley we climbed through ponderosa, aspens and then open sagebrush to reach the wooded north-south ridge of the mountain. This hike gives open views south to Summerland, followed by a steep view down to Garnet Lake then Peachland, Okanagan Mountain and Okanangan Lake. We had one of the few overcast days of the last three months but were luck to complete our hike with just a light sprinkling of rain.
